By Admin On October 8, 2014 · Comments Off

Michael Andrew who is a Technology columnist and his team members from The Michael Report say that they have got the photos and illustrations of the second-generation iPad Air from the inner sources of Apple.

Second Generation iPad Air

The report is same with the rumors we have heard before about the new generation iPad, which is going to be shown on Oct. 16. Andrew didn’t publish the pictures of new iPad, but he describes the details of changes of new generation iPad as the following indicate:

  • The new iPad Air will be issued with Touch ID built into the home button

  • It will come in a gold color option

  • The new iPad is going with an 8-megapixel camera instead of the 5-megapixel camera on the first-generation iPad Air

  • It will run on an Apple A8 processor and access 2GB memory instead of the 1GB memory of the current iPad.

  • Apple may discard the 16GB option and may offer 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants only.

  • The new tablet will be 0.5mm thinner than the current iPad Air, but the designs of them will be identical.

  • Expect to see one-row grill speakers rather than the two-row grill on the current iPad Air.

  • The mute/vibration switch will be completely gone to keep the design more slim, and the volume buttons will be more recessed too.
