According to AnandTech, the score of iPhone 6 in browser SunSpider performance test is higher than iPhone 5s by 13%. Other running test results related to CPU are similar too and show that A8 is on the top of all tests.

 
AnandTech reiterated in the article that the improvement of A8 is not solely from the speed of 100 MHZ as well. Apple may enhance or significantly optimize the processor cores of A8. This is significantly achievement in consideration of the relevant time.

On the test of GPU, the performance of iPhone 6 is a little fluctuating. It performed the worst in the test of physical simulation. But in other tests, iPhone 6 exceed almost all devices in addition to the Shields Tablet of Nvdia. In general, the results of tests showed "a pretty solid lead over the competition for the iPhone 6/A8".
