iPhone5s/5c First Week Sales Exceeded Market Expectation, 9 Million Phones Sold in 3 Days

According to AOL, Apple has published the first week sales of the new iPhone5s/5c. A total of 9 million phones have been sold as the statistics show.

From 20th September, Apple’s new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have been made available to the public in 11 countries and regions globally. According to Apple’s statistics released on 23th, the two new phones have hit a new record of a total 9 million sales at the end of the first weekend. 9 million sale is far more than that has been previously expected by the market analyst of 5-8 million.

The first week sales of iPhone 5 were 5 million last year. But market analyst has pointed out that iPhone 5 was sold merely in 9 markets but now iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in 11 markets including China, where has huge demand for iPhone.

Besides, Apple has also announced that there are 20 million devices are running iOS 7 and it is the fastest updated system version since iOS’s generation.
